...an intro to Caladwen

Below is a breif summary of the site and its progressing plotlines. Remember, these are just basics and it doesn't do the histories, etc. much justice at all. ^_^ So be sure to read all that as well. Enjoy.

This site is an Advanced RPG. Plain and Simple. If we don't feel you meet the certain standard level of RP that would suit an advanced RPG, we will politely tell you so. Please do not feel offended if you are declined. We just simply cannot accept everyone and still maintain the advanced status.

Anyways, I digress...

This RPG is a dragon-based role-play. All characters must be draconic. We're typically looking for the common western-style dragon (four legs, two wings), but we adore creativity so any unique modifications of body structure are of course encouraged as long as the character still looks like a dragon with dragon characteristics. Our rules more deeply explain these details.

This is a community style RP, where dragons must live together, band together, and interact with one another in order to survive. In many ways it is very similiar to a Wild Horse RPG, if any of yall have ever played one of them.

The world is divided up into colonies and two sides--the Lumières (good, noble dragons) & the Maldades (dark, evil dragons).
The world is new, and dragons flock from different ends of the world to make their lives here in Caladwen; therefore the individual colonies are unruled, the "sides" are not united. And the proud arrogance of the dragon race, may make peace anywhere difficult. It all depends upon the actions of your characters.
Will the forces of evil and light live seperately in a state of acceptance, neither bothering with the other? Or will one seek to destroy the other? More important still... will the colonies themselves unite at all...? All will be decided in due time.

So which are you? A Lumière? or a Maldade? And where do you stand?
